Sydney has Miller Moths!

Really, they are called Bogong Moths (http://www.amonline.net.au/factsheets/bogong_moths.htm)

The news last night had a story about the moths that are staying in the city (rather than migrating into the Snowy Mountains southwest of Sydney) because the winds are too strong from the west.

The story had a clip of someone opening a mailbox to post a letter and releasing a cloud of moths which were hiding inside.
